- Detection Events - There are three types of detection events in Essential App Protect: Threat Campaigns, Malicious IP, and High-risk Mitigation.
- Threat Campaigns - The system examines HTTP requests for known threat campaigns by matching it against known attack patterns. HTTPS requests are blocked or reported, depending on the configuration, if they are found to belong to an active, known Threat Campaign.
